Seeking a senior full stack developer to join a collaborative team building interactive and customised software for the AgriTech industry in New Zealand

About FarmIQ:

Their goal is simple - to transform pastoral agriculture by creating a platform for all New Zealand's agricultural information. FarmIQ has set out to enhance farming practices in an ethical and responsible way, while seeking to ensure farmers remain a global success story where production and environmental sustainability go hand in hand.

To achieve this FarmIQ develops and sells software that helps farmers manage their farms more effectively - either by aiding them meeting environmental compliance, managing their stock, or keeping track of their staff and day to day activity.

The Role:

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be owning technical solutions, delivering quality code, and playing an integral role in the mentoring and coaching of junior developers within the team. Having previously worked as part of an Agile and collaborative team you will be comfortable with pair programming and will ideally have experience with TDD and Design Patterns.

You will be joining a collaborative development team at a point where you will be able to add value to a team currently forming their best practice, processes, and continuous deployment journey. You will take a leadership role in your team and work with the architect to build and deliver technically robust software. Ultimately you will play an integral role in the design and build phases to create products that farmers love and will make a difference to New Zealand

Tech Stack:

· BE: Java (Spring / Hibernate) | JSP | JSON APIs | Tomcat
· FE: Typescript | React | MobX | Material UI
· MOB: React Native | Realm | Detox
· PLAT: AWS

We are looking for genuine Full Stack Developers who have extensive experience across AS MANY TECHNOLOGIES in the tech stack as possible - Java and React experience being the non-negotiables. Any experience with AWS and React Native would be a bonus as well as knowledge or experience with API development and CICD.
