The Role and Responsibilities:
This new role will be responsible for helping build innovative websites, apps, and platforms to further enhance engaging brand and marketing strategies. This will see you develop both internal and client solutions. Working as a part of the wider team (a highly collaborative and creative bunch) you'll have the freedom to let your imagination run wild! This isn't your typical, "push it out the door' agency mentality, these guys take their time to get things right with a focus on the artistic, strategic and vision piece and the exceptional results speak for themselves. With some pretty high profile projects over the last few years, it's likely you will have seen or engaged with their work in the past. With a number of interesting projects in the pipeline, you'll be proud to show off the fruits of your labour.
Your day to day will see you writing clean, functional code in a variety of different languages, and managing your time across a diverse range of projects. This is genuine full stack development and will utilize your skills from server admin all the way through to front end polishing. As if all this wasn't cool enough, you'll also be working in an environment committed to adopting and utilising the latest in interactive technology, think cameras, drones, VR and all that good stuff.
What we need to see in your background:
4 + years experience in a web development role
Competent and experienced using MySQL and Databases
Experienced in PHP, JavaScript, Wordpress, HTML, CSS
Ideally experienced with either Vanilla JS, Node JS or React
Can demonstrate knowledge/exposure to package managers/module bundlers (Webpack, Babel, Composer)
Proficient in using version control, namely GIT and BitBucket
Great communication skills and an interest in working with different teams and stakeholders
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, exciting environment
