Senior Front End Developer (Aem) - Contract

We are looking fora front-end Guru to join one of Australia's leading financial institutions on an initial 6 month contract.

The role is based in the Sydney CBD and you will be responsible for helping the team redesign a number of different web applications across multiple parts of the business.

What we are looking for:

You are quietly confident in all things to do with the visual web. You are a master of HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript, along with a multitude of libraries & frameworks out there. You constantly keep up-to-date with whats hip and cool yet are very conscious with what the limitations are for each technology and which should be used when and where.

You have worked with a content management system or two and understand how they like to work. You organise mock-up sites, pages & components in a modular fashion, so the back-end ninjas can work their magic, practically blind-folded.

You've worked in or with an enterprise company before, so appreciate that many people will live and breathe your workmanship; so, structure, compliance & maintainability are foremost in your mind.

Skills and Experience Required:
5 years minimum project experience working with HTML5, CSS3, and JS (including ES6-9).

Project experience with build tools like Grunt, Gulp & SCSS with a Maven project

Confident in jQuery, Bootstrap, Foundation, Angular, React and other frameworks

Worked with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) or a similar CMS

Worked inside the CMS; deploying & owning clientlibs & designs

A strong desire to learn new skills and technologies

Good verbal and written communication skills

Participated in team activities including providing mentorship and performing code reviews

Responsive design concepts, CI/CD knowledge, Git source control

Exposure to an Agile working environment
