Senior Financial Accountant

An internationally recognised organisation are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their Christchurch Office (based in the CBD). This position would be a great opportunity for an aspiring and ambitious Financial Accountant or a strong Senior Financial Accountant looking for a shift!The Role:In this role you would be joining a large finance team directly reporting to the Finance Manager. This would include the below duties:Budgeting and forecasting.Assisting in the preparation of the half-year and year-end consolidations.Managing the monthly accounting function.Preparing financial statements and financial reporting (including external audit).Assisting the wider Finance team in various projects.About you:To be suitable for this position, you will be a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working with passionate and extremely friendly professionals. You will also ideally possess some of the below skills and experience:Having completed your CPA/CA qualificationGreat ability to get along with others!Possessing audit or commercial experience would be highly advantageous although not a requirement.An eye for detail, and a continuous improvement attitude!Benefits:In return, you will work for a wonderful team full of passionate individuals.
