We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Developer to join our Insights product team. In insights, our mission is to transform high quality data into actionable and meaningful advice for our customers. Will you join us on this journey?
About the Team
The pod you'll be joining is called SLABS, based in Wellington. We've already built the foundation and now we get to work on leveraging the power of AI and data so they provide the customer with accurate and reliable insights. At the moment our team needs someone experienced in working with distributed database solutions integrated with cloud services - this is where you come in!
Team purpose
You will help us scale our current Cash Predictions application. Scale our offering to meet our customers needs. You will help us solve and implement a solution to these problems, working with the Data Scientists, Tech Lead and Architect.
What does that mean day to day?
You will be working collaboratively in a cross functional team to support the data requirements for the team by identifying and implementing the tuning and scaling of the application and data feed. You will also be working and supporting the architects and engineering leads, data scientists to grow the knowledge and understanding best data practices in our team.
So what do we need from you?
About 2 years + of experience (or comparable - we're about quality not quantity) with distributed database solutions including design , implementation , data pipelines and monitoring.
Ideally experience with AWS DynamoDB, Amazon SQS, C# .Net and python.
Experience proactively mentoring through coaching, pairing, mobbing and knowledge sharing to help your team thrive
