True Canterbury born and bred business, our client spent the past 20 years developing instrumentation services that are now sold across the globe. Looking to expand their focus in the past few years, they are developing new technologies and products to answer worldwide demand. Taking the world by storm with their creativity and ingenuity, they are now in an expansion phase, and are looking for the next member to join their team.
This is an opportunity not to miss if you are interested in working on embedded software/firmware for a highly-dedicated team, and if you want to physically see your product being manufactured in front of you. So in order to alleviate the current workload of their CTO, they are looking for an experienced developer to join them.

The needs in the business are broad and the role could be designed in a variety of different ways, depending on the skills the right candidate is going to bring to the table. So if you are really strong in a couple of the areas below but lack in 1 or 2, please feel free to still apply for the position.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
Full stack development, ideally you are experienced in C or have experience with the C suite and can learn a new language.
You ideally have experience in machine learning and integrated network communications
Mobile app development experience with Angular 7
Embedded firmware development
Mastering of Linux OS
Front end Development
Systems Administration
Cloud development with Azure
Key Requirements:
Relevant qualifications/experience in Software development, backed by references. This is a position that will require you to work autonomously, be versatile and adaptable. You have experience programming in assembly languages.
You are comfortable working in a small team, which means that you can work under your own direction and be willing to be accountable and take responsibility to get things done.
You can take ownership of your projects and are ready to make a real difference in the community.
You are able to understand a business from an operational point of view and will have an input in the direction of the business
The role can be full-time or part-time.
You must be locally based with all valid work rights in New Zealand.

A negotiable salary between $80,000 to $120,000, flexible work conditions, a great team and the opportunity to support communities to face natural disasters is on offer for the right applicant.
