Senior Design Engineer*

Your responsibilities
To provide the design of formwork, shoring and scaffolding solutions using PERI products in accordance with PERI guidelines and practices, as well in accordance with Australian/New Zealand standards whilst maintaining efficient and effective use of time
Provide technical advice on all PERI products to customers and associates PERI employees
Ensure work is carried out safely and following workplace health and safety, quality rules and country regulations
Actively promote the supply of leading technical service and leadership by example
Develop an understanding of PERI’s products and Technical design strategies
Assist the Engineering Manager with the everyday running of the department including but not limited to reviewing designs, assigning workload and recruitment and development of Technical staff.

Your profile
Ability to liaise with people at all levels from diverse cultural backgrounds
A depth of experience in a similar role, working with all aspects of Formwork, Falsework and scaffolding designs
Experience in management and staff development (desirable for senior design role)
Highly skilled at coaching and mentoring engineers and developing team dynamic
In-depth knowledge of PERIcad, RSTAB and the various design tools available
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships
Ability to work in a team and has a positive working attitude, and
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
