The purpose of our Senior Consumer Manager is to make our partner?s consumer customers more valuable and more satisfied and our partner?s business more profitable by offering relevant and profitable propositions at every contact opportunity.Your role will be to deliver Consumer initiatives in our Partner Markets in the TransTasman region (NZ.AUS, Fiji) as the main priority and potentially our Asian partners as a second priority, enhancing their overall base performance and accelerating their Consumer transformation.
Key responsibilities include:Interact with Consumer management team in the region; participate in key meetings, understand their strategy, challenges and help them to connect with relevant programmes, initiatives and stakeholders in Vodafone.Proactively identify, define and take to market new Consumer projects & initiatives for partners in the regionDrive incremental revenue for partners, and for Vodafone, by implementing relevant programmes/ projects to enhance their business performanceIncrease engagement of key Consumer stakeholders within the partner markets through delivery of webinars and events focused on innovation and best practice
Key accountabilities and decision ownership:Embed within partner Consumer management team, understanding their commercial plans and proactively bring experience, knowledge, upsell opportunities where Vodafone can partnerDeliver commercial improvement programmes for consumer customers which can range across all aspects of the CBU: brand communications, digital marketing, CVM, propositions and segments, channels, operations and devicesWork with our Group Functions and local Vodafone Markets to identify best practice, projects and Vodafone initiatives that are relevant for our partners.Form part of a project team with the partner and/or act as key Consumer stream lead on a partner led project to ensure effective programme delivery and bringing Vodafone knowledge and experience on the ground to deliver business impactRegularly report to the Region Head and Consumer function on the state of the partner relationship, and performance of business development, programmes or projects
Core competencies, knowledge and experience:Proven track record in a senior telecommunications consumer commercial, operations or marketing role in Vodafone, with subject matter expertise.A strong internal network with substantial experience of managing and developing consumer business improvement in Vodafone OpCos and/or GroupKnowledge and experience of harnessing digital technologies to drive customer satisfaction and business performance5+ years of telco experienceOutstanding commercial management skills - numerate, analytical & professionalAbility to influence director and CxO level staff in group and 1:1 situationsAbility to work collaboratively across function and influence colleagues without line control to access their supportExperience of working internationally with different markets in different stages of maturity with people with different cultural backgroundsWillingness to travel approx.. 5-15 days a month (varies by project phase)
