Te Uru R?kau has delegated responsibility for administration of the forestry components of the Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). The Forestry ETS Transformation Programme is responsible for designing the services required to support the legislative process and implement new regulations. A programme team has been established to identify a solution going forward that covers both business requirements and technology needs.
As the Senior Stakeholder Engagement Advisor you\'ll play a key role within the programme. As part of the Communications team, you\'ll support the Programme Director, Change Manager and Project Managers to support and drive communications related to Te Uru R?kau\'s activities.

In this role there is complexity and challenge, so no two days are the same. You\'ll need to be energetic and adaptable to thrive in this environment. This role requires strategic nous and tactical know how. We think it\'s one of the most stimulating and important roles in town.
You\'ll have a key role in helping to deliver the Government\'s vision of reducing our emissions through delivering top notch communications about the Forestry Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS). This is your opportunity to play a part in this important programme.
You\'ll be developing and implementing stakeholder and communications plans that go above and beyond the standard template. We need someone who can be creative and push the boundaries to reach our goals.
You\'ll also need to be flexible to jump in and help others in the team on issues then they need a hand.
You\'ll have a good risk radar and nose for innovative message delivery.
M?u - About You
You\'ll have a proven track record for stakeholder engagement and communications, the ability to think strategically and a keen eye for detail. You\'ll show initiative and be a self-starter whilst also being a creative problem-solver.
This is a busy and varied position. There is complexity and challenge, so you will need to be adaptable and innovative to thrive in this environment.
You\'ll also need:
Advanced skills in writing and editing communications material
Ability to build credibility and trust with internal and external stakeholders
Experience planning and delivering multi-channel communications including social media and web content
Ability to drive internal and external communications
Experience in project and event management
An ability to deliver quality material on time and within budget
The ability to work directly with the Minister\'s office
An understanding of the public servant\'s neutral role

The salary for this role is $92,073 to $108,321 depending on skills and experience.
