This is a rare opportunity to join us as we embark on the second phase of our journey by further increasing the size and capability of our team.He angitutanga: About the RoleAs the Senior Commercial and Revenue Advisor you will be responsible for delivering advice to ensure DOC's fee setting and pricing is delivering maximum value to conservation. You will achieve this by ensuring sound methodologies and consultation processes have been employed for determining the fees for activity on public conservation land. Part of this will be to develop the underlying strategies and systems that enable the team to fulfil their purpose. You will also be involved in investigating the value of alternative business models to improve access, manage visitor demand and improve visitor safety.He korero mou: What we are looking forThis appointment requires technical commercial knowledge developed through a minimum of 5 years of working in a similar or related context. You will be a confident communicator who has the ability to influence a range of stakeholders, alongside robust project management skills and evidence-based reasoning. We are seeking an agile and cooperative team member who is comfortable collaborating with others across the wider unit, organisation and externally to deliver on key department objectives.Please note, this position will ideally be based in Dunedin or Wellington.
