About The Role
As an Engineering Chapter Lead for the Corporate Systems, you will be a people leader; technical lead; provide mentoring for your staff; embed the organisation’s delivery and operations methodologies; accountable for change and release; design, build, test and support applications and / or underlying bank infrastructure. You will work closely with counterparts based in multiple geographies to ensure NZ compliance and requirements are met.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Provide People Leadership and mentoring of staff.
Participate in creating platform strategies with Product Owners, Journey Experts and Tech Area Leads.
Act as a Change and Release lead for the platforms, ensuring that the specific NZ platforms are considered.
Identify improvements for the end user experience within the product suite.
Ensure system controls are standardised and comply with policy and process requirements.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Strong people and leadership skills
Experience working in Central Functions units or large organisations
Proficient business knowledge/understanding within Finance and/ HR systems
Proven years’ experience working with Oracle Products; PeopleSoft HCM & FMS; SAP Ariba; ServiceNow (HRSM)
DevOps / Agile operating methodologies
Demonstrated focus on identifying continuous improvement opportunities
Proficient business knowledge within HR & Finance systems
