Senior Business Analyst ? Accessibility We have an opportunity for a Senior Business Analyst to join our team for a 6-month fixed term.
The role of the Senior BA ? Accessibility will be to lead the scoping document to enable MSD to progress the requirements of the Accessibility Charter.
Your key focus will include:Completing an audit of the current accessibility state of our websites, web applications and online tools.
Completing web standards self-assessment of those sites and tools
Assist with accessibility training sessions
Help deliver an action plan for a programme of work to remedy accessibility issues
Championing the Accessibility Charter at MSD.
What you will bring: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst who specialises in accessibility tools. An overview of your skills and experience:
Excellent understanding of using standard accessibility testing tools, including automated test tools, such as aXe and WAVE, as well as manual testing such as keyboard, and Assistive Technologies such as ZoomText magnifier, Dragon Naturally Speaking, JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver
Cross-browser and cross-device testing knowledge
Excellent knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Understanding of and use of ARIA
Exceptional knowledge of WCAG 2.1 and the New Zealand Government Web Standards
Excellent understanding of plain language and web writing, such as language used in alt-text.
Excellent understanding of Google Analytics
Web background (eg Web Advisor, Web Business Analyst, Web Developer, UX Designer, Test Analyst)
Able to communicate with business owners, vendors and developers
Experience running training sessions
