With a strong reputation across NZ, this firm partners with private and public sector clients to drive smarter investment decisions and optimise property assets.Their specialist team provides strategic advice on technical due diligence, asset management, compliance and project delivery, ensuring clients maximise value and mitigate risk.As they continue to grow their team, they are looking for an experienced Senior Building Surveyor to assist with delivering a secured pipeline of work.About the role: This is a client-facing, technical role where you will play a key part in delivering strategic building consultancy services.You will:Conduct building surveys and provide detailed reportsManage and oversee building inspection programsAdvise on property and construction, including dilapidations, defects, alterations, and repairsAssist clients with project management from inception to completionPrepare and negotiate tenders, contracts, and procurement of servicesEnsure compliance with building regulations and legal requirementsLiaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomesMentor and guide junior surveyors within the teamOpportunities to take on leadership responsibilities for those demonstrating leadership and business acumenWhat We're Looking For:A degree in Building Surveying, Construction, or related fieldExperience as a (Senior) Building Surveyor, with a strong portfolio of completed projectsMRICS Chartered status to sign off workProven experience in managing complex surveying projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative teamExcellent report writingWhat's on Offer?This is an opportunity to join a well-regarded consultancy that values expertise, collaboration, and professional growth.
