Join us on the journey as our new Senior BI Developer - contribute to the ongoing growth of a dynamic and progressive group, working across three awesome brands to lead BI workstream projects.
The role can be based in Torquay with our Ripcurl family, or in Christchurch with our Kathmandu family - flexibility is a core part of the way we work! How often do you get the chance to work on the doorstep of an epic surf spot or the snowy mountain ranges?
Key Responsibilities:
Direct, organise and lead BI workstream projects, particularly the implementation and use of current/new BI software tools and systems
Work on highly complex, cross-functional, enterprise level business intelligence solutions, collaborating with stakeholders across different levels and geographic locations
Be the go-to person, providing subject matter expertise for BI core functions
Provide guidance, training and problem solving assistance to other team members
What we are looking for:
Solid experience in a senior BI role, with a comprehensive knowledge of structured analysis, technical design and data modelling techniques, dashboard scorecards and visualisation tools
Proven experience working with Power BI, Azure cloud platform tools and a working knowledge of SQL databases
Microsoft .NET development skills and/or certification
Proven track record implementing successful BI Projects – mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Problem-solving and analysis skills, a strong customer focus and clear style of communication – able to manage expectations appropriately and provide a positive experience to both internal and external stakeholders
University degree, preferably in Computer Science, with some focus on Data Warehousing,
An industry recognised BI certification
