We have an exciting opportunity for aSenior Automation Testerto join our Financial Crime team in the Enterprise Services domain. BNZ Digital is responsible for creating and delivering innovative solutions that help our customers be better with money.
The position of Senior Automation Tester exists to assist agile teams to deliver quality working software on a frequent basis to enhance the bank's competitive advantage. Taking a leadership role within the test chapter.
What you'll do:
Day to Day:
Taking a leadership approach in thinking critically and laterally about test design, mitigating project risks through an appropriate test approach, and exploring the application to expose vulnerabilities beyond the business requirements.
Experienced with validating infrastructure setups in a public cloud environment
Working with developers/engineers to create appropriate automated checks using existing tools
Working with their agile team to develop a common understanding of the business requirements, and understanding underlying business intent, business procedures and systems.
Clearly communicating defects to the business and their agile team.
Contributing to a shared focus on user experience.
Participating in agile ceremonies including stand up, retrospective, planning and demonstration. Undertaking non-testing related activities to assist the team to deliver on its commitments.
Actively leading testing principles and practices with their agile team and wider BNZ Digital & Applications. Keeping up to date and sharing new developments and changes to testing and agile practices, along with new technologies used in delivering solutions to users
What you'll have:
Essential:
5+ Years practical experience
Web services and microservices automation
Agile Development
Analysis and Problem Solving
Communicating with influence
Delivering results
Continuous Improvement and Innovation
Working collaboratively in a team
Desirable:
Experience working within an Agile software development environment
Kubernetes/OpenShift or AWS
Infrastructure validation tools such as Inspec
CI development, support (Jenkins)
Cypress/Selenium/Rest-Assured experience
SQL experience
Banking or financial services
