What will you do?
Due to ongoing growth, Ryman Construction is now seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join our Christchurch team, and join the wider team of 36 other employees. The Construction Detailed Design team take the concept design through to building consent. The buildings range from large scale commercial buildings, apartment blocks and townhouses. The Village Centres include commercial sized facilities, such as swimming pools, commercial kitchens, high level care facilities, restaurants, billiard rooms, cinemas and hair salons, to name a few. The Village Centres range in size from 2 to 5 levels, with some having multi level basements. Apartment blocks and townhouses are also common among Ryman Villages.
The Construction Detailed Design team work with our Construction teams on site throughout the entire build. This includes working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers and external consultants,
In this full-time position, you will design and produce the detailed construction documentation for commercial and residential projects.
Who are you?
Proven senior level experience 10 years as a Draughting Technician on multistory commercial and residential projects. For example high rise apartment structures, or multi story hotels.
Have the confidence to run large and complex multi-story projects.
The ability to lead small teams of staff to oversee documentation and co-ordination of a village.
You will have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude and be able to fit into a dynamic and proactive team.
Solid working knowledge of Revit Architecture is essential.
Tertiary qualification is an advantage but not essential.
UK, NZ or Australia experience would be an advantage.
