The role of Senior Architect - Digital, plays a vital part in translating forward thinking business and project requirements in to reality. By designing technology solutions that meet the current and future needs of their customer segment.

Key responsibilities for this role are:

- Providing product design from a strategic level and ensuring there is robust analysis for all options considered.
- Giving technical advice and consulting on business change, projects and new initiatives.
- Providing assurance to the design process, taking in to account all information including needs, current state of assets and resources available.
- Maintaining appropriate architecture standards and frameworks, whilst proactively looking for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Supporting and contributing to both business and technology strategies and helping to communicate this vision to the wider organisation.

Like any leading Architecture role you will be required to deliver a range of items including, Architecture documentation, Analysis on solutions, technical recommendation review and any handover / change request information.

It goes without saying, we are looking for a Business minded professional that has the ability to engage across the wider team and organisation. You will also be someone that can take on technical and functional leadership, with a view to partnering the Manager for Architecture, CIO and other leaders when it comes to the technology roadmap.

We are looking for a Architect that has proven and demonstrable experience within an environment where they have been involved in projects from start to finish. Naturally they will need to be a good problem solver as well as have the EQ to understand the drivers from the customer group.

We would like to see candidates that have had a broad technical career to date, this could be across area's such as cloud services, networking, security, authentication and digital transformation. Experience working on a modern application development environment (Agile / DevOps) would be very useful.
