Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Applications Specialist to join our IT Team. You will possess a broad range of application skills that you use to apply technology to deliver outcomes for the University of Auckland. You?re be familiar with the full applications life cycle from consultation, analysis, configuration, development, implementation through to supported products in production. This means you can take an idea or need and deliver it all the way to a fully functioning solution.

Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years\' experience working extensively with an array of technical applications in a complex environment. Experience within the tertiary sector would be advantageous.
Ideally, you will also have:
Experience in guiding projects and teams while delivering own assignments
Extensive experience in application maintenance or support
Knowledgeable in all aspects of the software development lifecycle
Expert in a wide range of technologies and delivery processes
Have delivered a wide range of software projects
Ability to identify, guide and interpret customer needs
Ability to influence solution design
Awareness of the wider applications ecosystem, ranging from infrastructure through to support and strategy
Experience with EAM solutions e.g. IBM Maximo an advantage for the role.Additional Information
