Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.You will:Work as a senior member of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team, within Te Kawa Mataaho responsible for implementing Papa Pounamu, the Public Service Diversity and Inclusion work programme and Kia Toipoto, the strategy to close Public Service gender, Maori, Pacific and ethnic pay gaps.Lead/co-lead provision of advice to Public Service system leaders, Ministers, agencies, and entities.Work with stakeholders within Te Kawa Mataaho and with external parties, including Public Service unions and other employee representatives.Familiarity with workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts is preferred.This opportunity is up to 3 months until the end of March 2025, and we are open to a secondment or a fixed-term agreement at either Senior or Principal level.Details of role expectations and the experience, skills, and knowledge needed for the role are available in the attached Job Descriptions.If you would like to discuss this role, please contact Acting Manager: Diversity Equity and Inclusion, ****** believe in a diverse and inclusive Public Service which reflects the communities that we serve.
