Are you skilled in information management?

From an information management and knowledge management perspective, the work we do is different, complex and demanding. It can be highly sensitive for political privacy or national security reasons, and includes reviewing the security and intelligence agencies involved in sending, receiving and handling national/international classified information.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person who can provide expert specialist advice, thought-leadership and stakeholder engagement to enable the achievement of The Office of the Ombudsman strategic objectives. We are establishing a new team of specialists who will play a pivotal role in building capability, as well as, driving and enabling information and knowledge sharing.

Experience and a proven track record of providing information management advice and expertise, particularly in an Enterprise Content Management (ECM) System environment;
Ability to apply principles of good information management practices to complex operational and IT environments;
Experience at finding innovative to organisational information management challenges;
Extensive experience of ensuring organisational compliance, in particular with the Public Records Act 2005;

Strong written and oral communication skills;
Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of stakeholder management , particularly within a project environment and
The ability to multi-task effectively and prioritise work to meet deadlines.

Depending on skills and experience, the salary for this position will likely range between $92,882 and $139,324 gross pa.
