Who we are:
The Asia New Zealand Foundation is the leading non-profit, non-partisan New Zealand institution on Asia and delivers programmes and initiatives to equip New Zealanders to thrive in Asia. This includes building knowledge and understanding through activities in research and Track II diplomacy, arts, business, education, media, entrepreneurship and leadership development.
The role:
The research and engagement team produce collateral which supports an informed and constructive conversation about New Zealand’s relationship with Asia. Our research also helps guide the Foundation’s work.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Adviser to support and add value to the life cycle of the Foundation’s research, from the inception of the topics, commissioning and editing of research through to the communications around the final product.

This is not a traditional research role – we are looking for candidates who have:
·Well-developed networking and presentation skills
·Strong communication and engagement skills
·Previous experience delivering high quality research products
·Experience working in policy, ideally with an Asia dimension
·Advanced research and project management skills
