Child Health Connection Centre
Waitemata& AucklandDistrict Health Board
As two of the largest District Health Boards, Auckland and Waitemata DHBs provide health services to a combined population of 1,169,000 people, including 81,500 children under six years of age. Auckland and Waitemata District Health Boards want the best and most equitable health outcomes for babies, children and their whanau. To support this aim, a Child Health Connection Centre (CHCC) is being established to ensure that all children/tamariki are engaged with a team of providers best suited to their whanau values and needs. One element of the CHCC will be administration of the National Immunisation Register (NIR).
The CHCC is looking for an experienced administrator that can lead a new team as processes are built and implement to get the best health outcomes for children in their community. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills in health administration, and preferably, previous experience with National Immunisation Register.
Applicants must have a commitment to providing high quality customer service and an ability to monitor reporting to ensure health targets are being met. In addition to managing a dedicated administrative team, the Senior NIR Administrator / Team Leader will drive relationship building with child health providers to support them in engaging with all whanau to deliver pre-school health milestones.
This Monday to Friday position will be based at the Greenlane Clinical Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about child health, to be part of creating a new service within a progressive and developing organisation that can offer challenges, as well as a commitment to personal development.
