Ko te kaupapa | About the role This is an exciting new role in our organisation to better support our clinical information manager and the clinical records team, medical secretary/typists and clinical coders, and a great career pathway for administrators looking to move forward and upskill.
The role will assist the clinical information manager with tasks such as permanent relief cover, planning, quality improvement tasks, rostering, desk file review and leave management, and will help other team members to resolve day to day operational issues. The senior administrator will be responsible for orientation of new team members, including specialised training in relevant systems and processes within the team.
This is a leadership position and crucial to the smooth operation of our clinical administration team.
Our ideal candidate will support and grow our administration service. You will have a positive outlook and an eagerness for learning new roles and process and taking your fellow colleagues along on the journey.

This is a busy team with tight deadlines to meet each day. You must be able to manage your time efficiently and have an eye for detail. Aspects of this role could be physically demanding so you need to be physically fit and able to lift and move moderate to heavy weights.
Your positive and creative approach to problem solving will be a great contribution to a busy team. Familiarity with the WebPas patient management system, clinical portal, FPIMs would be an advantage.
