The Opportunity at AIAWe're looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join the Model Development and Validation Team. Reporting to a Senior Actuary, this role is part of a highly performing Actuarial team within the wider Financial Services division. In this role you will lead and provide support for projects and business as usual tasks across a range of actuarial work. Prophet model maintenance and development Data modelling and development of analytical tools utilising software such as SQL, Python, R and Tableau Actuarial systems solution development and support Provide support to strategic projects including IFRS17 Support financial and regulatory reporting Support solvency and capital management Model governance and validation About you: Tertiary qualification with quantitative background Financial services industry experience (ideally life or health insurance, but other financial services experience will also be considered) Proven strong technical skills, including analytical skills Intermediate to advanced Prophet skills Strong programming skills. Familiarity with SQL, Python, R, Tableau or other relevant platforms is preferable Strong business acumen and ability to deal with ambiguity Highly motivated and results driven Project and team management skills Excellent communication and presentation skills Ability to engage with non-actuarial stakeholders and business partners Ability to meet deadlines Depending on background, a range of candidates will be considered, from early stages of actuarial exams through to newly qualified Healthier, Longer, Better Lives At AIA, wellbeing is at our core.
