Plexure is looking for a Senior Accountant based in Auckland CBD to implement the delivery of high quality financial processes About Us What do we do It s simple really We develop industry leading mobile engagement software solutions for some of the world s biggest retail brands An NZX listed company with 145 million customers in more than 55 countries we ve gone through a headcount growth of over 60 associates in the last six months and are on the lookout for motivated professionals to join us on our success roadmap moving forward About the Role The purpose of this role is to support the Financial Controller and the business in the delivery of high quality financial processes coupled with the provision of accurate and timely financial and management information and to provide quality service that will ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency to Plexure and its clients More specifically the senior accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial accounting cash management administrative and personnel services in order to meet legislative requirements and support operations for all companies in the group Key Responsibilities Administer and monitor the financial system Xero for all group companies in order to ensure the group finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner Prepare monthly financial statements and reporting of cashflow and forecasts Assist with budgeting and forecasting including monitoring and reporting on financial performance for both operating and capital expenditure Manage the annual audit process and oversee cost centre accounting Identify and highlight opportunities for process and systems improvements and adhere to a continuous improvement ethos What you ll Need to be Successful Minimum 5 years practical experience in an accounts or bookkeeping role including accounts payable account receivable and payroll experience CA qualified preferred Excellent organisational skills including the ability to determine priorities meet regular deadlines and take follow up action Knowledge and experience using cloud based accounting tools e g Xero Receipt Bank etc Highly reliable and self motivated with an aptitude for detail and excellent problem solving skills What s in it for you Greenfield s projects internal development opportunities are a focus of our culture There is also a real focus on self initiated training staff development for you to take ownership of You d be joining an innovative and results focused business with a growth mindset and a love of celebrating success with food and festivities whether that s through our daily 3pm snacks weekly Friday drinks monthly morning teas or regular celebrations just for the sake of celebrating Our open plan office aids both work and play with a pool table board games and large break out spaces with lots of comfy couches If this role sounds like you don t hesitate to apply now
