We are currently seeking a strong Senior Accountant contractor to support and lead a financial accounting team through a change and transformation process. You will be tasked with ensuring the timely and accurate processing of Accounting Transactions and manage the optimisation of the general ledger chart of accounts.
This will require you to;
Lead the Financial Accounting delivery, statements and schedules to support the annual audit & reporting process
Ensure that all sub-systems are accurately reflected and integrated into the ERP Financial System
Lead and develop the Financial Accounting teams to be a high performing and delivering to high standards & quality with a customer centric approach
Ensure direct reports are adequately resourced and have the capacity to meet service level agreements within budget.
Qualifications
Experience / Skills required
Tertiary qualified in Accounting, CA/CPA qualified and a current ICANZ or CPA membership
Significant experience in Finance and Accounting
Proven ability to effectively lead, manage and develop large teams.
Experience with advanced accounting and financial software
Excellent Stakeholder engagement capabilities
Ability to juggle competing priorities and dealing with ambiguity
Experience with Public Benefit Entity is PREFERRED
