AFS New Zealand Intercultural Programmes is an international nongovernmental nonprofit organization that provides intercultural learning opportunities through its portfolio of secondary school exchange programmes Participating in an AFS exchange requires students and their families to make a significant financial and emotional investment to step away from the crowd and take a path less travelled the result of which is a life changing cultural learning experience We need a new Sending Coordinator to join our small and super friendly programmes team to help Kiwi students undertake this amazing learning journey In addition to having a great sense of humor and an ability to solve problems arising from uncertainties related to international travel the person we are looking for will be an experienced administrator who can think in terms of improving systems and processes who is familiar with CRMs and who can juggle all things travel related while keeping calm and carrying on Ideally our new Sending Coordinator will have previous experience with exchange programmes or have worked in the travel and tourism industry Their communication skills will also need to be next level as this role demands communicating effectively with young people parents school representatives AFS volunteers and a network of AFS exchange coordinators working in destination countries all over the world If you have any questions about this role call John now on 0275 795 455 or email john dance afs org Applications close on Monday 9 March at 12 pm
