Security Analyst
Here's what you'll do in this job:
Overall accountability for managing the technical security controls and tools required for 2degrees to manage technical risk to an appropriate level. Responsibility to use Security tools and technology to identify threats, anomalous activity and policy breach in the 2degreees environment in a timely manner using industry recognised appropriate tools and techniques. Configuring and running security tools and techniques to identify security risks and work with business owners to take appropriate mitigating actions. Responsible for responding to security incident activities within 2degrees. Where necessary, carry out forensic activities in response to a security incident or policy breach. Keep abreast of industry knowledge and trends on information security to maintain an up to date and accurate understanding of the threat environment relating to 2degrees systems and information and use this knowledge to operate technology that will continue to protect us and our customers. Build a network across the Technology and Digital Teams to ensure technology changes outside of Security do not increase our risk profile.

Show us your different sides too:
You will have a demonstrated understanding of running SIEM functions and SOC practises as well as experience in security incident response activities. You will also have knowledge of cyber threats and how these could impact a business.
You will be able to show us your experience using Security Vulnerability Management tools and practises and how this translates into effective risk management within 2degrees. You will prove yourself as a Technical Security Expert with exceptional communications skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical controls and will have experience with the following:
Core technologies, such as (but not limited to) Active Directory, Windows Workstation and Server, Networking, Linux, Operational tooling, Infrastructure, Cloud services, MFA, Cryptography and Certificate Management, Perimeter controls, Remote Access, Firewalls and Telecommunications including 5G etc CISSP CISM CCSP
