We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Therapist with a wide variety of clinical expertise to lead the Speech Language Therapy team in Acute and Assessment, Treatment and Rehabilitation (AT&R). The leadership role equates to 0.5FTE (20 hours per week) and in addition you will carry a 0.3 FTE (12 hours per week) clinical workload in adult rehabilitation. This role will be well suited to a senior Speech Language Therapist that already has leadership experience in a hospital environment, is able to remain calm under pressure and is able to effectively build their team.
The role is based at Middlemore Hospital in South Auckland. We are a tertiary teaching hospital with 980 beds across the hospital. There is a train that stops in the doorstep of Middlemore Hospital, which makes commuting a breeze. If your child is under 5 years of age, you could also make use of our popular onsite kindergarten at discounted rates.

NZSTA approved qualification to practice Speech & Language Therapy
Extensive clinical experience and knowledge of Speech Language Therapy practice
