We currently have an opportunity in our Melbourne office for a dynamic legal secretary to join our national Insurance practice. You will be providing secretarial assistance to a team of five, including one partner, in the Commercial Insurance group, covering professional indemnity including financial lines, construction, property, general liability, product liability and personal injury. Day to day tasks will include preparing correspondence and court documents, preparing briefs, arranging medical appointments, diary management, client reporting, monthly billing, and file management.
The successful candidate will have three to four years' secretarial experience in a litigation practice, and will be someone who can work efficiently in a team environment. Being highly organised with excellent attention to detail is also essential, as well as the ability to efficiently manage your own workloads, and those of the team.
