Your opportunity
Play an important role in the delivery of high quality teaching and learning outcomes in a professional and collaborative environment. You will be able to apply your professional knowledge, practice and engagement to deliver an innovative and contemporary Science (including Senior Biology) and Junior Mathematics program for our secondary students. This is a permanent full-time role, from Term 2, 2019.
You will be required to engage students to nurture self-esteem, encourage self-reflection and develop compassion, respect and tolerance as a foundation on which they will build their lives in an environment that values education.
You will have:
Queensland College of Teachers registration
Experience in the provision of quality Science and Junior Mathematics programs to secondary students
Highly developed classroom teaching skills
Demonstrated ability to implement information and communication technology into teaching and learning
Skills and sensitivity in communicating with parents, students and other employees
An ability to work both independently and as part of a team
