The MidCentral Health Nursing and Midwifery Department is looking for a registered nurse seeking the opportunity for professional and personal growth, to join our Projects team.
The Role
As Nursing Project Coordinator you will provide effective project planning implementation, coordination, evaluation, support and administration to the Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Team's programme of work and priorities. The role will work in partnership with and be responsible to the Nursing Projects Lead. The role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a wide range of clinicians, support staff, service leadership, consumers & families, and sector stakeholders and to contribute to quality of care, service change and improvement across the continuum of care.
The Person
The successful candidate will have the following key attributes:
Proven work programme planning and implementation, organising and coordinating skills
Prrioritisation and time management skills rioritisation and time management skills
Lateral thinking, adaptable & flexible
Innovative
Analytical, trouble shooting and problem resolution skills
Proven project and change management skills

We are particularly interested to hear from you if you have the ability to communicate effectively, manage a wide range of stakeholders, influence, negotiate and build positive relationships, be an effective people leader - able to galvanise and motivate a team toward shared goals, remain on task while supporting change in a complex health environment, and provide written reports and documentation to a high standard. Whilst not essential, project management or change management training would be an advantage.

The position is a permanent position (0.5 FTE, 20 hours per week).
