There is an ongoing programme of investment in teaching and facilities across the school which has an impressive history and an exciting future.We are looking for a science teacher (Please state your specialty area) or a teacher of biology to join our science faculty.This is a full-time permanent position.The successful applicant will have a rich understanding of the curriculum, a growth mindset, the ability to develop and create responsive assessment practices for students, and be a collegial and responsive team player.The Science Faculty is a high performing team with a culture of continual self-improvement and the highest standard of pedagogy and student learning.Applicants are expected to participate in the extensive co-curricular life of the school.Contract and remuneration will be in accordance with the Secondary Teachers' CA.Annual remuneration is dependent on service and qualifications.
Hours of work will be full time as set out in the STCA.Entry requirements:To become a Secondary Teacher, you need to have one of the following at Level 7 or above of the NZQF:A specialist subject degree followed by a one-year Graduate Diploma of Teaching (Secondary) or a Master of Teaching (Secondary).A Bachelor of Education (Technology).A Bachelor of Teaching conjoint degree (a combination of teaching and specialist subjects).How to applyPlease send your CV, and direct enquiries to:
