You will be inspiring them to raise funds for World Vision New Zealand’s work; to develop an understanding and ongoing commitment to justice issues among the youth of New Zealand and to make a substantive contribution to the wider work of World Vision.If that wasn't enough, you'll need to buy into our identity and be passionate about helping us to achieve it. So, if you think you can do all that, we need to hear from you!Key responsibilities include: Inspiring students and youth to consider the injustices in the world around them and how they can change it through classroom talks, education resources, school assemblies and World Vision events Encouraging schools and churches to sign up for the 40 Hour Famine through building strong and authentic relationshipsSupporting students, teachers and youth group leaders in fundraising for the 40 Hour Famine through your leadership and encouragement of the Famine Ambassadors (interns)Management of the Famine Ambassador (intern) based in your officeQualifications/experience:An understanding of the education and NZ Schools' sectorExperience of working effectively with young peopleAn understanding of contemporary justice issuesFundraising, account management or sales experienceThis is an exciting opportunity to help make a difference in vulnerable children's lives around the world.
