What You Will Do
The School of Language, Social and Political Sciences (LSAP) seeks a proactive, professional and motivated individual to provide administrative support to the staff and students within the School.
In this role, you will ensure friendly, effective customer services are provided and ensure the workload of others within the College Office is supported through the provision of a wide range of administration services. You will also assess student enquiries, both in person and online, and triage appropriately, including providing initial and routine student advice. You will need to be able to thrive during peak workload periods, such as enrolment periods, and manage a diverse workload.
Who You Are
As the successful candidate you will have the following education, skills and experience:
Significant experience in an administration or receptionist role, ideally within a tertiary education environment or large organisation
You will be personable, engaging and have a strong customer service ethos
Proficient in meeting and minute taking protocols
Skilled in MS Office suite, web and email technologies and databases
Excellent work standards, displaying accuracy and attention to detail while managing a diverse workload
Demonstrated ability to engage positively with a range of people from a diverse range of backgrounds as well as an understanding of, and sensitivity to, cultural differences, multi-cultural and bi-cultural issues.
