About Us
Kiwi Lumber is a progressive sawmilling company marketing Radiata Pine to the USA, Australian, European, Asian and New Zealand markets. The group consists of three modern sawmills located in Masterton, Dannevirke and Putaruru, and employs a total of 220 staff, across the three sites.
The Role
Reporting to the Sawmill Manager, we are seeking motivated sawmill staff to join our team. Experience working in a sawmill environment would be an advantage, but being reliable, having a positive attitude, and a health and safety focus are essential.
About You
This is an ideal position for a self-motivated, energetic individual who is able to work unsupervised, enjoys physical work, is keen to learn and operate machinery safely.
You will be reliable, have strong maths ability (NCEA level 2 or higher), and be computer literate.
Kiwi Lumber prides itself on being a drug free site. Applicants will be required to undergo drug testing.
