We have a permanent role based on the Stunning South Island of New Zealand. Are you looking for a SAP Functional Team Leadership role that allows you to manage a team, while also providing strategic direction for a complex SAP ecosystem? We have a great permanent role for a true SAP Leader. Based on the South Island, New Zealand, this is a key strategic role that will allow you to lead and manage a great SAP Team (with some of the countries finest SAP professionals) in a role that encompasses 3 core elements: Team Leadership: The day to day management of a team of 20 – 30 people, both permanent and contractors. You will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of your SAP Team, Integration Team and Analytics Teams, providing guidance, direction, motivation while managing the performance of the individual and that of the overall team. Your goal is to ensure that all SAP S/4 operations are functioning well, and that your team is achieving critical project deadlines. Leading Project Delivery: Leading Multiple streams of SAP work – with some major projects already underway, and some major projects in the pipeline, we need a great leader to step in and provide true direction, organizing resources and help the team achieve it's project goals. You will be responsible for planning and resourcing and making sure that your team can move projects from start to finish as seamlessly as possible. Stakeholder Management: Managing a vast network of stakeholder relationships. The organization is complex in nature, and your team will be a central hub for all kinds of activities, so the creation and maintenance of great working relationships across the entire business is critical. Each part of the puzzle is critically important. To be a success in this role you should have these proven skills; and have proven experience in all 3 components listed above. We are therefore looking for a great mix of skills which starts with strong SAP knowledge, previous S/4 experience and an understanding of the complexity of the sap ecosystem. You should be a great communicator, someone that enjoys working with a large team of people, project managers, team leaders and stakeholders – Being a good Networker is going to be key for this role. You should have highly developed communication skills: someone who is very approachable and available (and fun to work with). You will value building long-lasting relationships with have the ability to present to a variety of audiences with different levels of understanding of SAP. You should also have great Organizational skills – as this is vital for this role. You should be comfortable delegating effectively – being able to select the right people and allowing them to flourish. You must have highly developed Leadership skills, including the ability to recruit, coach and mentor others. You should also be a creative problem solver – someone that is able to resolve issues and move forward. You should also have experience in budgeting, projections, time sheets and coordinating resources.
