We are looking for a junior salesperson to join the team in our exciting new Auckland store, opening on the North Shore in November. This is an excellent entry level position to kick start your sales career (and to improve your communication and negotiating skills). Firearms knowledge/sales experience/or a love of the outdoors is a clear advantage. Please provide examples of this in your cover letter.
You will be a support person to the sales team that will also have the opportunity to sell in peak times. You will be part of the team at the biggest firearm dealer in New Zealand, selling to customers nationally and internationally too. You will provide outstanding service that will boost your customers experience and the team’s profitability. You will strive to create “raving fans” the continue to come back again & again. Don’t be perturbed though, a lack of firearms knowledge is not a deal breaker! Some of our best salesmen came to us as newbies to the sport but were great at selling and forming genuine relationships with clients. They now have new hobbies and a passion for selling good gear as well. We can certainly teach you what you need to know to continue your sales success. Firearms owners and purchasers tend to be happy, law-abiding people with disposable income who respect someone who make them feel comfortable about investing their money in the beautiful tools they have dreamed of owning.
