They pride themselves on delivering tailored, solution-based services to meet customer needs.Benefits:Base salary + monthly commission + company vehicle + phoneAutonomy to manage your team across the South IslandSupportive management team & fantastic work cultureAbout the role:Based in Christchurch, you will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for eight direct reports, managing the estimators and sales team to expand business across the South Island.
You will nurture key relationships, drive new business opportunities, and lead a high-performing sales approach to exceed targets.Responsibilities:Lead and support five account managers across the South Island, traveling away four nights per month (minimum)Foster strong relationships with key accounts to promote strategic business partnershipsDevelop annual sales strategies with your team to secure new business opportunities, driving growth and profitEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and monthly reportingAssist estimators to quote efficiently and on timeRepresent the company at industry trade shows, staying updated on market trends and competitor activity, and facilitate training with your team as requiredEnsure compliance with all health and safety requirementsSkills and experience:Experience in the building industry (trade, design, quoting or installation)Proven experience in managing a regional sales team and able to foster a supportive and motivating environment to empower people to be their bestAbility to travel away four nights per month (minimum)Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam (quoting), MYOB, ServiceM8 (or similar CRM systems)High energy and a great sense of humourAbout Us:Canterbury owned, Ryan is proud to have supported candidates and clients for over 35 years.
