Sales Assistant Hardware - Ferrymead

Mitre 10 mega Ferrymead is a family owned store where we strive to deliver exceptional customer serve to all our valued customers.
We are currently on the search for a Hardware Sales Assistant- The Hardware departments is responsible for 1000's of products ranging from Nuts bolts & screws to Door handles, smoke alarms & ladders.
This is a full time position Tuesday - Saturday.
This is a fast moving department where heavy lifting is involved.
We are looking for a customer focused person with some handyperson skills to fill this role, someone who can demonstrate the following:
Team player

Exceptional sales & customer service skills
Great communication skills
Computer literate
Can multi task & problem solve
Quick & alert mind with the ability to adapt & be flexible
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Being able to draw on your own DIY experiences to enable you to help solve our customers challenges.
