SHE expertise required 6 month hourly rate contract Remote hiring process The purpose of this role is to use strategic and practical environment and sustainability expertise to inform the modelling of transport asset data models technical specifications and attributes the implementation of which will enable decision makers to invest in a transport system that improves the well being of New Zealanders and the livability of communities Key Accountabilities Contribute to the development of AMDS data standards and technical specifications by designing defining sustainability oriented attribute definitions measures etc Bring other SMEs into the process who can contribute knowledge from safety and healthy people as well as environmental sustainability disciplines Challenge data standard and asset management specialists to think more holistically and creatively around capturing and defining environmental sustainability factors across asset classes Liaise with key external stakeholders and other experts to ensure that environmentally focused technical specifications are in line with industry wide environmental concepts policies and procedures Knowledge and Experience Wide knowledge of environmental sustainability aspects of transport asset management eg sound landscape ecological air quality materials water management etc Knowledge of best and emerging sustainability practice around the world in relation to transport asset design building materials management and disposal Strong networks and contacts to find further deep specialist SHE expertise as required Knowledge of legislation and regulations governing environmental sustainability Ability to infuse this knowledge into data structures and models and to write clear concise technical specifications that capture emergent SHE requirements definitions and measures Understanding of asset management and the part environmental concepts play Understanding of data structures and management at an intelligent layperson s level Proven experience in leading influencing and building credibility across a range of stakeholders Qualifications Tertiary level qualification in relevant subject or equivalent experience To apply for this position please submit your CV via this website For further information please contact bradminnema momentum co nz Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa
