An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Change Manager to join Auckland DHB on a Fixed Term Contract as a member of the Care Capacity Demand Management (DCCM) programme implementation team. The CCDM or Safe Staffing programme is a set of tools and processes that help DHBs bettter match the capacity to care with patient demand to deliver safe staffing. The goal is quality patient care, quality work environment and best use of health resources

Reporting to Nurse Director - Patient Management Services
The Change Management Specialist will provide operational leadership to the Safe Staffing team and will be responsible for developing and implementing a Change Management Strategy, in consultation with the Programme Lead, for the Safe Staffing Programme.
As a Safe Staffing Change Leader you will:
Provide effective leadership by creating an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture
Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities
Apply best practice in Change Management
Demonstrate effective relationship management
To be successful in the position you will need to:
Have a minimum of 5 years providing leadership and development of team members
Have a minimum of 5 years developing and implementing Change Management
Have prior experience with large scale organisation change efforts/implementations
Be familiar with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle
Have business partnering capability
Be comfortable in a team environment with strong group dynamics awareness and collaboration skills
Be able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation
