Auckland Regional Dental Service (ARDS) is a community dental service run by Waitemata District Health Board. We provide free dental care to children aged 0-18 years who live in North, West, East, Central and South Auckland. We have many clinics located in schools and in the community, and also provide care in our diagnostic and treatment vans. You can look forward to the chance to progress within our forward thinking organisation.
We are looking for a Dental Assistants to join our service in the S3 team which covers theOtara, Puhinui, Papatoetoe and Flatbush areas.
The role is suitable for anyone with the right desire to enter the dental service, including school leavers and those looking to return to workforce.
We provide full training towards the role, so prior experience in dental services is not a necessity. All we ask is that you have a passion for:

Learning new skills and challenging yourself

This role is Monday to Friday, 8am - 4.30pm. You may occasionally be required to work outside of these hours, depending on the service needs.
The purpose of the Dental Assistant role is to:
Support and assist dental therapists to provide an efficient customer focused service to clients
Provide administrative support as required
