Job Description

You must have extensive knowledge and design experience using Civil3D, MX or 12d software and will be responsible for delivering civil designs and documentation on Transport projects such as rail, roads and highways including earthworks, grading, stormwater drainage and ancillary facilities.
Assisting in setting standards, procedures, protocols and templates in Civil 3D, MX or 12d will be an important part of this role. You will also provide mentorship to other designers and be a key go to person within the office.Candidate Specification

For this role, you will require:
• Indicative experience of 7+ years in a similar role
• Diploma level of qualification
• Experience in detailed design of transport infrastructure projects
• Ability to explain design techniques to other users
• Ability to adopt emerging Technologies
• Experience in or desire to mentor junior Designers & drafters
• Able to develop and implement processes and procedures
• Great overall communication and desire to work as a team player
• Comprehensive knowledge of NZ local design standards
