ASB's Rural Corporate team is a team of experienced rural bankers who manage the portfolio of ASB Rural's largest Rural customers ranging from corporate farming operations to large scale family businesses. We're experts in understanding the banking requirements for farming businesses which have significant complexity and risk to deliver great banking outcomes for both our customers and the bank.
What you will do
As a Rural Corporate Account Manager, you will provide exceptional portfolio management for a Rural Corporate client portfolio based predominantly in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty Regions.
You will work with a Relationship team with deal structuring, preparation of terms sheet and other lending documentation together with analysis of financial information and preparing and presenting lending applications to Rural Credit.
In the role you will also develop and maintain key relationships across the Agribusiness market, including with other banks and intermediaries. Part of this will include identification and referral of business opportunities to other units within ASB Rural and the wider group to ensure our customer needs are met.
What we are looking for
Reflecting the typically higher degree of complexity involved in Rural Corporate business flow and credit proposals, you will to be up to speed in interpreting financial statements and providing quality risk assessment for the Bank.
Preferably tertiary qualified your sound knowledge of the banking industry and rural sector will be complemented by outstanding communication, organisational and time-management skills.
You will have a high level of business acumen and interpersonal savvy, due to the client base you will be looking after which includes New Zealand's leading rural and Agri business people.
