The Company:

My client is a small, dynamic and fast growing agency servicing clients in the financial services industry. They offer financial trading firms all-round services from back office & accounting to marketing & risk management.

The Opportunity:

An internal promotion has opened up a position in the operations team to assist in day-to-day operations of financial trading firm clients. The ideal candidate will have an economic/finance degree and a strong passion for the financial industry. They must also have strong communication skills and demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform daily operations tasks for such as trade reconciliations, trade investigations, and etc.
Support and assist clients with technical enquiries
Assist with risk management and risk analysis & reporting
Assist in research of new products/services
Report to the Finance & Operations Supervisor

Requirements and Criteria:
Economics/ Finance degree
Demonstrated interest and passion for the Finance industry
A people person and team player
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
High level accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent understanding of math and spreadsheets
Able to cope well under pressure and be self-motivated
Excellent time management skills
Eagerness to excel and exceed expectations
Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship
