Revenue Clerk (Eligibility Specialist)

Permanent, full-time revenue clerk position (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday,08:00 - 16:30
Accuracy, attention to detail and strong data entry skills
Experience with a patient management system is desirable

The Team:What we do
The Canterbury DHB has an opportunity for an experienced Administration person to join the Christchurch Campus Finance team based in Christchurch Hospital on a permanent basis.
This is an interesting and varied role that will see you being a part of a small team of people who oversee and Administer the non-eligible patient function for Christchurch Hospital and Christchurch Women's Hospital.
The Role:Where you fit in
The role is an important role for the patient and the clinical staff as it requires you to identify, inform, invoice and collect from patients who are not eligible for publicly funded healthcare in New Zealand.
Your skills will include:
Essential:
Experience in accounts receivable, experience with a patient management system is also very desirable
Accuracy, attention to detail and strong data entry skills
Good Excel knowledge
Well-developed organisational skills
Ability to interact with a range of health professionals and a diverse range of patients
Be comfortable under pressure and have the ability to meet tight deadlines

Desirable:
Experience with the eligibility criteria for medical care in New Zealand
