Retail Support Person - Shady Lady Lighting

The role is a Retail support person with some retail sales work. The person needs to be energetic, versatile, reliable and efficient. Some of the key duties are:
Inwards goods: This is a critical area of our business requiring you to be on the ball and use your great attention to detail, organization skills and be able to follow established processes.
Web Sales: Collation, processing payments, and dispatching our daily web site orders. You will need to be quick, efficient, accurate and keen to learn our stock, from the largest light fittings to the many small parts we sell.
Phone and email sales support: Be able to efficiently deal with customer enquiries and price requests.
Retail Sales: The person needs to be able to multitask, and be comfortable switching roles to help out in the showroom as required. One day a week (Saturday) would be primary retail sales.

To add even more variety, we have a manufacturing / importing base in Naenae. The person would need to work there as well.
Duties would include processing orders, packaging and dispatching our NZ made shades, Table Lamps and Re-production lighting as well as phone sales and support.
The person would work approx. 2 days at the wholesale site and 3 days a week at the showroom.
When we have larger orders arrive from overseas the person would be available to help check and collate this product.
This is a hands-on role in a busy area of the business, accuracy, attention to detail, planning and organisation and communication are all essential skills for this role.

The hours required are 5 days a week, Tuesday – Friday 9:00-5pm, and Saturday 09:30 – 4pm.
