We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled Retail Store Manager to lead our mini supermarket/convenience store.
As the Retail Store Manager, you will be solely responsible for managing and controlling the daily operations of the business.
You will oversee staff, ensure smooth store operations, set up pricing, and maintain a positive customer experience.
Your role is critical to maximizing sales, controlling costs, and delivering exceptional service to our customers.Management of Store Operations:Solely responsible for managing and controlling the day-to-day operations of the business.Ensure the efficient functioning of the store, including overseeing inventory, restocking, and ensuring store cleanliness and safety.Implement and enforce store policies, procedures, and safety standards.Pricing and Financial Control:Set up and manage product pricing, ensuring it aligns with market trends and profitability goals.Monitor store financials, including sales, margins, and expenses, and make adjustments to pricing as needed.Team Leadership and Development:Recruit, train, and develop store staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.Supervise, schedule, and provide leadership for staff, ensuring the store is adequately staffed at all times.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to improve staff performance.Customer Service:Ensure customers receive high-quality service and address customer complaints or concerns promptly.Train staff to maintain high standards of customer care and satisfaction.Sales and Marketing:Develop and implement sales strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.Plan and execute sales promotions and marketing activities to boost store performance.Analyze sales trends and customer data to identify opportunities for improvement.Reporting and Documentation:Provide regular reports on store performance, including sales, inventory levels, and financial results.Maintain accurate records of stock levels, orders, and other operational data.Job Requirement:Please have at least three years relevant work experience, or diploma (NZQF Level 6) or above.Diploma Level 6 or above may substitute work experience or vice versa.Be able to work in a team.Primary address of work: 70 Brown Street, Kingswell, InvercargillEmployment type: Permanent Full TimeMinimum hours per week: 30Maximum hours per week: 40Minimum hourly rate (low salary range): 28Maximum hourly rate (high salary range): 35Pay frequency: Fortnightly
