Retail Sales Assistant | Permanent Part Time | Riccarton

Our sporting/athletic store in Riccarton needs a Sales Assistant for Part time hours. These will be some set hours and some casual shifts.The hours the applicant must be available are Monday 9 -6pm and Thursday 3- 9pm.
Applicant must have availability to work one weekend shift when required. Preference given to applicants who can offer additional hours when required on a casual basis (eg covering leave).About us

The Role:
As a Sales Assistant you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service. You will also prepare and perform stock takes, maintain merchandising standards, and follow company policy and procedures. You will work as part of a team in driving store and personal sales.Requirements: An outgoing, competitive and bubbly personality Excellent communication skills, including flawless written communication Fantastic interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team A background in and passion for the sports industry is preferred!
Retail experience is preferable but not necessary for an outgoing person with great people skills.
This role offers a minimum 13 hours per week throughout the year but FULL TIME over summer starting ASAP however there is some flexibility with the volume hours you would like to work. There may be more hours available for the right candidate. It is essential that you can commit to both weekday and weekend shifts including late nights, and an ability to work occasional extra hours/days would be an advantage.
